Thank you for sharing your life, your wisdom and strength with us. Thank you most of all for asking those soul searching soul questions that challenged me then and are still challenging me today, weeks later.

I believe I had a true awakening that weekend. Your beautiful tales of mermaid folklore and the way you wove them into the lives of women in recovery was simply brilliant and beautiful. But even more, in the individual time we spent together you opened me to see that even in the midst of tragic loss, peace, healing and spiritual freedom are possible. After all these years of pain, this is truly a miracle. Thank you.

I am only now beginning to process the enormous graces from your amazing presentations last weekend. You and Pam performed seamlessly together with your personal stories which remind us of our humanity and your decades of serenity and sobriety that kept us firmly rooted in our recovery. Thank you.

Thanks again for an insightful and thought provoking retreat. I’ll never look at a hummingbird the same nor can I forget how you inspired me with the courage to look at the pain around me with compassion.

I want to tell you that I appreciate from the bottom of my heart the personal experiences you shared with us. They were such sacred gifts. For me to see how you continue to love, how you refuse to be a doormat, how you remain strong, beautiful and generous is truly a gift of grace and hope. It is truly the hand of God.
